Characters: St. Matthew

Everyone filed in the band room getting out their instruments, when Mr. Jhanke began talking. Everyone tuned him out as usual because he just goes on and on about nothing musical. Then the word "trip" came out of his mouth. Suddenly everyone started listening.

"What was that I didnt quite catch that last sentence?" questioned Lauren.

"I said were going to Washington for a band trip," answered Mr. Jhanke.

"Washington State or Washington D.C?" asked Shannon

"Washington D.C."

Everyone cheered on the top of their lungs. Megan and Gretchen stared at each other in disbelief. Alex couldnt believe it either. Steph and Shannon high fived each other. As Spencer and Andrew screamed. Lauren and Stephanie also stood in disbelief. As Alicia shouted Hooray!

"I see I wasted all your time talking about the trip so put your and go to math class." Mr. Jhanke told them. All of them filed upstairs for math class but the only one in the mood for math was Spencer.

Mrs. Seahower immediately told them "Get ready for a popquiz, when you are finished start working on your 100 math problems due Friday"

"Yes!" yelled Spencer

"NO!" cried Shannon

"When are these due?" questioned Gretchen.

"Friday!" she answered.

"But that gives us only 2 days to finish them all!"

"I will have no more of this nonsense the next one to object is going to the principles office."

"But!" blurted Tanya.

"Tanya Rowe report to the principles office immediately this means no band trip for you missy and 100 extra problems! Now begin your popquiz!"

After 20 minutes the popquizzes were handed back. Andrew got an A-, Shannon a C, Steph a B, Alex an A, Gretchen an A-, Heidi a C, Tanya an automatic F----, Megan Connors an A, Lauren got a C+, while Stephanie got a D, Alicia an F, and of course Spencer got an A+ as usual.

Finally the day came for the band trip to begin they had to be to school for 5:30 A.M. Everyone was mostly sleeping on the way but then they were up and kicking. Pastor Parlow, Pastor Limmer, and Vicar Buske also went along. They were watching Remember the Titans, while everyone was working on their math homework.

Then Heidi turned to Gretchen and asked, "Gretchen what is 2 x 5?"

Gretchen then says, "How many times have I told you its 10!"

"O.K., O.K., I get it." Heidi says.

On the movie someone says "your mamma and I went on the town last night."

Then Pastor Parlow, Pastor Limmer, and Vicar Buske says, "Prove it!"

The movie then says, "What happened to you?" "I just got done giving your mamma a piggy back ride and she weighs twice as much as I do."

Pastor Parlow, Pastor Limmer, and Vicar Buske say again, "Prove it!!"

Finally everyone gets it and laughs.

Then the movie got to the part where they were dancing and singing ooh aah I feel ooh aah I feel good, and Vicar Buske gets up and starts dancing singing.

Everyone looks up and starts laughing again. Finally the movie comes to an end. So then Nick Jr. comes on. Pastor Parlow starts singing Blues Clues, Blues Clues, Blues Clues! Pastor Limmer starts singing Hey its Franklin. Vicar Buske starts singing D-D-D-D-D-Dora D-D-D-D-D-Dora Dora Dora Dora the explorer. Then the whole bus starts joining in "Im the map, Im the map. Im the map. Im the map. Im the map!!!!!
Finally they get there and got straight to their rooms and leave for the restaurant. They go to Chuckie Cheeses!! They eat pizza and play games. Gretchen wins a life size teddy bear that takes up the seat next to her. Vicar Buske gets in one of the racecars and gets stuck in the car, and Pastor Parlow pulls him out.

Then they go back to the hotel and have a bed-jumping contest. Pastor Parlow, Pastor Limmer, and Vicar Buske entered the contest. Spencer was first to jump he got a 10.0. then Andrew jumped he got a 10.0. Then Pastor Parlow was up he jumps so hard he falls through the floor.

Spencer and Andrew yell, "Is the floor comfy?"

"What do you think!" says Pastor Parlow.

Then it was Pastor Limmers turn. He jumped and ran into the wall and slides down the wall.

Finally they saved the best jumper for last Vicar Buske. How should we put this he didnt fall through the floor, he didnt run into the wall, his head got stuck in the ceiling. He ended up in someone elses bathroom. Then a little kid comes in and has to go (of course).

Vicar Buske says, "Im bigger, and stronger. But dont worry I work for God."

The little kid then yells, "Mom theres a scary man in the bathroom"

"O.K. honey Ill be there in a second." (She goes into the bathroom and sees Vicar Buskes head)

"Oh man, get away from there."

Vicar Buske says, "Just put a rug over the hole that will work," "and just kick me down."

"My pleasure."

"I didnt mean that hard"

Everyone asks, "Are you O.K."

"Yeah Im alright."

"And Im not alright." Pastor Parlow yells.

Spencer says, "You didnt get your head kicked by a weird lady."

Pastor Limmer says, "The moral of this story is never jump on the bed high or low."

They put a rug over the hole and fly paper on the ceiling. Then went to bed.

The next day they went to the White House. They started automatically singing Im the map. Im the map. Im the map. Im the map. Im the map!!

Alex sings, "On Nick Jr."

Steph sings, "Nick Jr. is just for me."

Gretchen says, "NO, for me."

Then everyone says, "NO, for me."

Then Pastor Limmer starts imitating George W. Bush. Everyone starts laughing then stops.

"Hes right behind me isnt he" Pastor Limmer asks.

They all nod and say, "YEP!"

So the body guards through him out of the White House. After playing at the White House they have to go home. But before they have to go they want to have one more contest. An eating contest, Vicar Buske and Pastor Limmer were against each other.

Everyone was shouting, "GO,GO,GO,GO."

Vicar Buske won the contest.

Then they went home.

They sang and danced all the way home (they all finished their math homework except Tanya as usual)

Then they had an award ceremony. Mr. Jhanke was first, everyone got an award except Tanya. But finally she did get one, for the most detention. Then was High Honors, Shannon Connors, Andrew Limmer, Stephanie Wichlatz, Gretchen Gantz, Megan Connors, Alex Douglas, and Spencer Gantz. Then was Honors Alicia Baldwin, Lauren Slattery, and Stephanie Ovans. Finally was low honors.

"Only one this semester Tanya Rowe."

"I dont deserve this its because of that stinkn math teacher!" screamed Tanya.

"Tanya to the principles office now for another detention!" yelled all the teachers together.

So everyone had a fascinating trip except Tanya.
